#ok can we just talk about how ron and hermione have the greatest ~subtle vibe thing going on because their feelings for each other are so restrained because they’ve been friends for so long and there’s all this water under the bridge, ok there’s an OCEAN under the bridge and they both have this massssive roadblock when it comes to admitting their feelings but, as per usual, they band together around harry and they can focus on his ~drama of the day~ and through that they work together so perfectly, like hermione can just throw him a glance and ron will know EXACTLY what she means, and let’s not even get into I’M NOT AN OWL, but wait I’M RON’S OWL because really, when you get down to it, hermione sees the best in ron because she doesn’t see him as harry’s best friend or the youngest wealsey, he’s just RON and he’s HER’S and ughhhh and ron gets that hermione is intelligent as fuck but also that she’s got the biggest heart and he’s kind of an idiot because he knows she’s such a caring person but he’s like DOES SHE CARE FOR ME MOST? and i am just sitting here going WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK, RON? WHY DO YOU THINK SHE FUCKING THREW BIRDS AT YOU AND CAN’T TALK TO YOU WHEN YOU’RE WITH LAV LAV, WHY DO YOU THINK SHE WAS GOING TO INVITE YOU TO SLUGHORN’S PARTY, SHE CRIED EVERY. NIGHT. AFTER YOU LEFT OH MY WIZARD GOD SHE CARES ABOUT YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING, MORE THAN HARRY, MORE THAN SPEW WHY CAN’T YOU SEEEEE and then the fucking OPUS of deathly hallows where they’re constantly in danger ALL THE TIME and there’s just no room for ‘oh maybe he loves me~~~~’ they are just out and out balls in love and then MALFOY MANOR TAKE ME INSTEAD HERMIONE NOOOOO HERMIONE NOOOOOO i can’t handle this perfect seven year build up perfection of a relationship merlin take the broomhandle i need a minute or five.
